I have a site on freewebs and I haven楹搕 been paying for hosting or domain names because it楹搒 free on freewebs, but now I want to use a different hosting service, but I want to maintain the exact same look in my site (same template, content etc.). How can I do this%26#039;
Can I tranfer my freewebs site to another hosting service?
Depending on, if you have access to the files, trough ftp, you should be able to download it, and simply upload your site at your new host.
But if your website was created with their tools, you may not be allowed to copy your site to your new host.
Ofcause you could download it trough other means then ftp, such at, save for offline view. Or click view source, and copy the source-code for your pages.
You would then need to save each image manually, or outomate the process trough autoit, or a download accelerator.
Edit%26gt;
Yes, given that your site dosent have any server-side code, which is generating content, or displaying content from a database.

%26quot;What will be the address of my site?
Your site%26#039;s address will be: www.freewebs..com/yourusername, however, you can register or transfer your own Top Level Domain (for instance yourname.com) and point it to your Freewebs site all from the My Domains area of your account. %26quot;
freewebs.com/babyblue for example can%26#039;t be transfered because babyblue is only a sub domain or %26quot;part%26quot; of the domain freewebs.com. When domain names are registered, they are registered as freewebs.com only. Anything after the .com/ like the username babyblue, is created in your domain name manager. Take a look at my unbiased review I did on an inexpensive hosting site called hostmonster . It%26#039;s not much but it gives people the basic dashboard of what to see and expect.

The just click on hostmonster then domaincheck to see if your %26quot;username%26quot; is available as a real domain name.
Other Replys:If you go onto your website through this http://www.freewebs.com/YOURUSERNAME , Press Alt and click View (Next to edit and file) and click view page Source.
There you can get the HTML of that page allowing you to upload to another site.
