Does anyone know of an image hosting site that could convert a .bmp file to a .gif? Is there any way I can do that myself? Or do I have to download programs and stuff?
Does anyone know of an image hosting site that could possibly...?
You can easily convert a bmp to a gif by just loading the file to convert in paint, then go to:
File -%26gt; Save As
And now from the list of types to save as (near the bottom of the popup save as screen), choose gif. :)
Have fun!
EDIT: As a reply to the person talking about the GIMP, all programs will destroy colors when you save as a gif. The reason for that is because in gif images you are only allowed to have 256 colors in the picture, but when you save as JPEG or PNG images, it usually keeps the colors the way they were.

Other Replys:Open the file. Hit the %26#039;save as%26#039; button under File. Underneath the title of the file, there is a drop down that should say .bmp. Hit the arrow to show the drop down. Select the desired file type from this drop down. Hit save. And voila! You now have a .gif file!

Other Replys:I would use the GIMP to save as .gif, ms paint tends to destroy the colors when you try to save as anything other than .bmp
the GIMP is basically free and open source version of photoshop. of course if you have phototshop that would work too.
