Visitor Stats on new website and Hosting ID number, please help?

I made my first website and I looked under visitor stats , it says 980 visitors on Sunday. This is for a home for sale...How do I know if any are from my own computer , is there a way I can find my hosting ID number so I can compare it against the stats? Also does this mean there was 980 individual Views or not, thanks for helping!!

Next time you need to provide some more information such as your hosting company (free or paid) etc., and how you are getting these stats (cpanel ?).

There are a number of very good and free stat counters around including Google Analytics.

The one I use is StatCounter:

It will tell you everything about your visitors and where they came from.

Unfortunately visitor stats is a complicated measure, and different stat programs measure them differently. Check your visit stats, hit refresh, and check your stats again, it will probably be incremented. Most hits are usually the number of times the page was reloaded, not unique visitors, and not excluding you. Unless you have a static IP most peoples ID changes every time they initialize their browser.
